Poster illustration and design

I was commissioned by my local community group - the Magpie Hill Mob - to illustrate and design this promotional poster for its most ambitious community-building event ever: a suitcase rummage. Not surprisingly, the community-building started long before event day, with many of us working together beforehand to make it happen.

While I created a couple of drawings for consideration (with and without 'rummagers'), and offered different colour schemes - it was the 'rummagers' version with a muted background that made it into the final poster. I resized the final poster as an A5 flyer (printed for letterboxes), and reformatted it for the Facebook event page.   

The suitcase rummage received funding via a community connection grant from the ACT Government, and was supported by the Lyneham Community Association,
