Rachel Roberts
illustrator
Rachel is an Australian illustrator, who uses a combination of traditional and digital techniques to create pictures. While she regularly explores different mediums, styles and effects, she always returns to her first loves; pencil drawing and portraits.

Rachel's work is published in books and magazines, and she illustrated the award-winning children’s picture book, Books Don't Need Batteries. Rachel produces work on commission and her larger works on paper have been exhibited in Australia.

While Rachel is mostly self-taught, she studied drawing techniques at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore. She holds a philosophy degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
