Inktober is an annual drawing challenge designed for artists to practice and improve their ink drawing skills. Jake Parker created Inktober in 2009 as a challenge to improve his inking skills and develop positive drawing habits. It has since grown into a worldwide endeavor with thousands of artists taking on the challenge every year.
Since 2016, Inktober (also known as October), started posting an official list of one-word prompts - 31 days / 31 prompts / 31 drawings. And now, for those who need more than 31 days, there's Inktober52, which is a weekly drawing challenge that goes all-year-long; 52 weeks / 52 prompts / 52 ink drawings.
I've participated in Inktober and Inktober52. Here are some of my favourite ink drawings.
